The last game we saw the Utes play was their Las Vegas Bowl matchup against the Northwestern Wildcats.

Calling plays for what turned out to be an overachieving Wildcats team that just fired their head coach prior to the season was Mike Bajakian. He was the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for the past four seasons, while also spending some time at Boston College, Tennessee, Cincinnati and Central Michigan.

According to ESPN's Pete Thamel, he will be joining Utah's staff as an offensive analyst.

Bajakian also has some NFL experience under his belt, as he was the quarterbacks coach for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 2015-18, and also spent time with Chicago Bears in 2004-06.

He will have the chance to work with one of the best quarterbacks in the country in Cam Rising, while also helping develop four-star freshman Isaac Wilson.
