Veteran NFL WR Chris Hogan declares for Premier Lacrosse League draft

Former New England Patriots wide receiver Chris Hogan is taking his talents to another sport, one he is all too familiar with.

Hogan, who played lacrosse at Penn State, has declared for the Premier Lacrosse League draft, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The 33-year-old's NFL days are well behind him. He appeared in five games for the New York Jets last season, catching 14 passes for 118 yards. He has played just 12 games over the last two seasons.

Hogan spent four seasons with the Buffalo Bills before signing with the Patriots, helping the franchise capture two Super Bowl titles in three seasons.

The PLL entry draft is set for March 25.
