The Atlanta Falcons are officially on the scoreboard with a 6-0 lead against the Miami Dolphins in the second quarter of Friday night's preseason game.

The score came on an 11-yard run from running back Godwin Igwebuike midway through the second quarter.

Here's a look at Igwebuike's touchdown ...

Igwebuike's touchdown capped off an 8-play, 68-yard drive led by quarterback Logan Woodside. Igwebuike ran the ball on the final four plays of the possession, racking up 38 yards.

During the season, it will likely be Bijan Robinson or Tyler Allgeier running the ball down the field, but with Arthur Smith resting his starters tonight, Igwebuike is making the most of his opportunity.

Igwebuike possesses a lot of the same skills that Avery Williams, last year's return specialist, gave to the team. Williams suffered an offseason injury and won't suit up for the Falcons this year, prompting Atlanta to find a replacement.

Igwebuike, like Williams, started out as a defensive back, but found his way to the offensive side of the ball. On top of that, the special teams experience doesn't hurt.

Coach Smith and the Falcons love versatile players, which is why Igwebuike shouldn't be dismissed as a potential contributor for Atlanta this season.

The Falcons lead 6-0 midway through the second quarter.
