Vikings' Anthony Barr unlikely to return vs. Colts with shoulder injury

The injuries amounting during Week 2 of the NFL season are unbelievable. While many players already have been ruled out for the day, the Minnesota Vikings only are the latest team to have a player suffer an injury.

Linebacker Anthony Barr injured his shoulder and is doubtful to return on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

It's not clear how Barr suffered the injury, but the fact he was immediately classified as doubtful isn't a good sign. With Barr sidelined, Ryan Connelly and Troy Dye could see more snaps.

Last season, Barr played 14 games for Minnesota. He recorded one interception, one fumble recovery, 1.5 sacks and 54 solo tackles while forcing one fumble.

Many players have been injured in the second week of the NFL season, including Saquon Barkley, Drew Lock, Parris Campbell, Nick Bosa, Cam Akers and David Montgomery.
