Vikings rookie Twyman to report to camp after recovering from gunshot wounds

Minnesota Vikings defensive lineman Jaylen Twyman will report to training camp on Sunday after being shot four times in June, his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Twyman is expected to begin camp on the non-football injury list. However, the 22-year-old believes he'll be able to play some point early in the 2021 season.

The University of Pittsburgh product was in his car during a trip to Washington D.C. when he was shot. Rosenhaus described the injuries as "superficial, exit wounds."

The Vikings selected Twyman in the sixth round of this year's draft. He recorded 11 sacks, 57 tackles and two pass breakups during his college career.
