Von Miller signs six-year, $120M deal with Bills

The consensus opinion before Wednesday was that free-agent pass-rusher Von Miller would choose between signing with the Rams, with whom he just won a Super Bowl, and the Broncos, with whom he played his entire career until the end of last season.

Turns out, he's signing with neither.

Miller has agreed to a six-year deal with the Bills, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports. Per Rapoport, the deal is worth $120 million, with ESPN's Adam Schefter confirming that $45 million of that is fully guaranteed.

In Miller, Buffalo adds a veteran pass-rushing talent who can still contribute at a high level to an already top-level group. The Bills ranked tops in the NFL last season in yards allowed at 4,637, nearly 600 fewer than any other team. They were tied for 11th in the league in sacks, a department Miller surely will help in.

Last season, Miller began the year with the Broncos before being traded to the Rams midseason. It turned out to be worth the package of picks Los Angeles sent to Denver, as Miller was instrumental in the Rams' run to a Super Bowl win. He played well down the stretch in the regular season, then came up huge in the playoffs, logging four sacks in four games including two in the Super Bowl.

Buffalo will be just Miller's third franchise, as he had played his entire 11-year career with the Broncos up until the trade to the Rams. He's picked up eight Pro Bowl selections in that time in addition to three first-team and four second-team All-Pro nods.
