The Dallas Cowboys will be on the hunt for a new starting center this offseason. The Washington Commanders are reportedly planning to sign center Tyler Biadasz to a new deal out of free agency this week. NFL insider Ian Rapoport shared the news on Monday once the negotiation period began. Biadasz started 16 of the 16 games he played for Dallas in his fourth year with the team. He’s only missed two starts over the last three years.

The Cowboys are losing some consistency in the interior of the offensive line by letting Biadasz walk and join former DC Dan Quinn. He, Zack Martin and Tyler Smith, along with Tyron Smith and Terence Steele, allowed 39 sacks on quarterback Dak Prescott this season while dealing with various injuries and ceding time to second-string contributors.

Biadasz went to the Dallas Cowboys with the No. 146 pick in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft out of Wisconsin. He started just four games as a rookie but played in 12 on his way to taking over as the full-time starter in 2021. He signed his rookie deal for four years, $3.78 million.

Dallas has a lengthy list of upcoming free agents to consider re-signing, as well as multiple stars who are looking for contract extensions. The list of the Cowboys’ free agents includes Tyron SmithStephon GilmoreDorance Armstrong Jr.Jayron KearseJourdan LewisJohnathan HankinsNeville GallimoreDante Fowler Jr.Chuma EdogaNoah Igbinoghene and Rico Dowdle.
