Washington Football Team defensive tackle Matt Ioannidis has been downgraded to out for Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills. Ioannidis is dealing with a knee injury suffered in the first half of last week’s Thursday night win over the New York Giants.

Ioannidis did return in the game, but his knee “tightened up” the following week.

Initially ruled as questionable against the Bills, Ioannidis didn’t travel with Washington to Buffalo, according to NBC Sports’ JP Finlay.

Washington has elevated defensive tackle Daniel Wise from the practice squad for Sunday’s game. Wise will provide depth up front in the absence of Ioannidis.

Tim Settle is expected to get an increase in snaps at defensive tackle. Ioannidis has four tackles, a tackle for loss and one sack in 86 defensive snaps this season.
