The Washington Football Team elevated wide receiver Dontrelle Inman from the practice squad for Sunday’s must-win game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Inman’s elevation comes as Terry McLaurin is questionable for the Sunday night’s game. McLaurin has been hobbled by a high-ankle sprain that forced him to miss last week’s loss to the Carolina Panthers. He hasn’t practiced this week.

Meanwhile, Inman gets another opportunity to contribute for Washington. He played in nine games this season before being a healthy inactive for two games in Week 14 and 15 in large due to the emergence of Washington’s young wide receivers alongside McLaurin.

Inman was released on Dec. 26 but the team signed him to the practice squad a few days later. He has 18 catches for 183 yards and two touchdowns this season.

With McLaurin uncertain, Washington will lean on young receivers Cam Sims, Steven Sims and rookies Isaiah Wright and Antonio Gandy-Golden in the passing game. Neither has stood out in McLaurin’s absence.

Dontrelle Inman, a seven-year vet with 74 career games, gives Washington experience on the perimeter.
