Washington Football Team TE Logan Thomas returns to practice

The Washington Football Team is close to getting their starting tight end back.

In his first year with Washington last year, Thomas was second on the team in receiving yards, finishing behind Terry McLaurin's total of 1,118 with his total of 670. The 30-year-old was third behind McLaurin and running back J.D. McKissic in 2020 in receptions with 72, tied with McKissic for second place in targets behind McLaurin with 110 and led all Washington players in receiving touchdowns with six.

Thomas had been on injured reserve with a hamstring injury since Oct. 6. Prior to the injury, the Virginia Tech product had posted 12 receptions for 117 yards and two touchdowns in four games.

The Washington Football Team is 4-6 and will take on the Seattle Seahawks in Week 12 on "Monday Night Football" at 8:15 p.m. ET on Nov. 29.
