Washington Football Team waives TE Thaddeus Moss

The Washington Football team released tight end Thaddeus Moss, the son of Hall of Famer Randy Moss, on Friday, according to ESPN's Field Yates.

Moss signed with Washington ahead of the 2020 campaign after going undrafted out of LSU. He spent the season on injured reserve after getting hurt in training camp.

The 22-year-old decided to sign with Washington last season after also considering the New England Patriots and Cincinnati Bengals. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like Moss will be following in his father's footsteps and heading to New England.

The Patriots signed Jonnu Smith and Hunter Henry this offseason to fill the void at tight end and also have Matt LaCosse, Dalton Keene and Devin Asiasi under contract entering the 2021 season.
