On Saturday, the Detroit Lions went against the Russell Wilson-led Denver Broncos in their week 15 matchup. The Lions were looking to bounce back from their week 14 upset loss against the Chicago Bears and they played remarkably on both sides of the ball. Furthermore, in the game, the Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown showed off his athleticism by flipping into the endzone.

During the final seconds of the first half, the Lions were leading by 14 points and were facing a crucial 3rd down and 7 from the Broncos’ 15-yard line. Detroit quarterback Jared Goff took the snap from the shotgun position and connected with his number one target Amon-Ra St. Brown, who used all of his athleticism to secure a touchdown.

After catching Goff’s pass on the slant, St. Brown leaped over two Broncos defenders and flipped right into the endzone to give the Lions a commanding 21-point lead at the end of the first half. Check out the footage of the athletic play attached below.

St. Brown had a great outing against the Broncos on Saturday as he caught 7 passes for 112 yards and 1 touchdown. This comes after a couple of rough outings for him for the Lions. Nonetheless, The Lions played lights out on all sides of the game. QB Jared Goff outplayed Russell Wilson after Ford Field’s DJ trolled the Broncos QB by playing Future’s songs during warmup.

Goff completed 24 of his 34 pass attempts for 278 passing yards and a whopping 5 touchdowns. He had great help from his weapons, who all had a great game on Saturday in their crucial game.

Amon-Ra St. Brown knew he had to turn up after two poor outings

On Saturday, Amon-Ra St. Brown led the Lions in catches and receiving yards. The Detroit receiver knew he had to put up great numbers after struggling for two weeks in a row.

In the Lions’ week 13 and week 14 games, St. Brown combined for only 5 total catches for 70 receiving yards and 1 touchdown. Those were poor numbers for the franchise’s number 1 pass catcher. So, he knew he had to go all out on Saturday.

So, I was like I've got to turn up ... My work ethic is the same, a part of me was like I can't go out sad. I've got to go crazy. St. Brown said via ESPN

And that’s exactly what he did on Saturday and led his team to an impressive 42-17 victory against the Denver-based football team. With that victory, the Lions improved to a 10-4 record and are still in the hunt for the No.1 seed in the NFC playoffs picture.
