Watch: Bears' Justin Fields, D.J. Moore connect on 58-yard pass

Chicago Bears wide receiver D.J. Moore and quarterback Justin Fields are finally starting to develop a repertoire.

Against the Washington Commanders on "Thursday Night Football," Fields and Moore connected on a 58-yard pass on third-and-9 at the Bears 26-yard line. Three plays later, Moore caught a 20-yard TD, giving Chicago a 7-0 lead.

It's a good sign that the dynamic WR and young QB are building some chemistry. Chicago traded the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft to the Carolina Panthers to acquire Moore and give Fields a reliable pass-catcher.

Nonetheless, the duo hasn't met expectations thus far. Through four games, Moore only has two TDs, and Fields has posted a 35.7 QBR, 28th in the NFL. Also, the Bears are off to a disappointing 0-4 start.

If the pair can keep connecting on big plays, however, it will help the Bears hapless offense, averaging the tenth-fewest points per game (18.8) in the NFL.
