Watch: Browns QB Joe Flacco shrugs off tackler, throws 50-yard TD vs. Jets

Joe Flacco's stunning re-emergence onto the NFL scene continues.

During a one-sided first half against the New York Jets on "Thursday Night Football," the 38-year-old capped things off with a ridiculous score before the break.

Leading 27-14 with 1:25 to go, Flacco escaped a sure sack, shrugging off a facemask before rolling to his left and connecting with running back Jerome Ford, who did the rest. Ford scampered 50 yards for a touchdown, breaking four tackles along the way.

Flacco finished the opening half 16-of-22 for 296 yards with three TDs, an interception and a 135.4 passer rating.

Ford closed the half with two catches, both for scores, adding 59 rushing yards off 10 carries. The second-year back helped open the scoring, securing a seven-yard TD pass from Flacco on the Browns opening drive.

Meanwhile, Flacco and Ford weren't the only Browns to stand out over the first two quarters. Wideout Elijah Moore had five catches for 61 yards and a TD, while tight end David Njoku also finished with five receptions for a robust 128 yards.

In total, the Browns recorded 367 yards of offense and 34 points to take a 17-point advantage into the second half.
