Watch: Falcons' Grady Jarrett gets awful roughing the passer penalty for sacking Tom Brady

This might be one of the worst roughing the passer penalties you will ever see in an NFL game.

With the Tampa Bay Buccaneers facing a third-and-five late in the fourth quarter and clinging to a 21-15 lead against the Atlanta Falcons, Grady Jarett sacked Tom Brady for what could have been a game-changing play and given the Falcons another chance to take the lead and win the game.

The problem: Jarrett was penalized for roughing the passer for....sacking the quarterback?

What else is a defender supposed to do here?

That ended up being a game-changing call as Tampa Bay got a first down, continued its drive, never gave the ball back to Atlanta, and held on for the 21-15 lead to regain sole possession of first place in the NFC South.
