Watch: Former NFL cornerback Patrick Surtain Sr. passes torch to Patrick Surtain Jr. in latest "I Could Do That" episode

Cornerback is one of the toughest positions in football. You are frequently expected to shut down the other teams best offensive weapon, and when you fail, everyone points it out. Thankfully, Denver Broncos' cornerback Patrick Surtain Jr. has the best mentor a rising star could ask for: his father.

In the latest episode of "I Could Do That: Strength Edition" presented by Oikos Yogurt, former NFL cornerback Patrick Surtain Sr. goes one-on-one with his son Patrick Surtain Jr. in the "corner challenge" to see who stacks up as the better cornerback.

Apparently all of the drills Surtain Jr. runs with his father are paying off. In his rookie season, the Denver Broncos' first-round pick delivered with 58 tackles, 14 pass deflections and four interceptions, earning a spot on the 2021 All-Rookie Team. And he's just getting started.

Surtain Sr. is himself a three-time pro bowler who played for the Miami Dolphins (1998-2004) and the Kansas City Chiefs (2005-2008), so the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree.
