Watch: Giants potential tying TD drive stopped with end-zone INT as time expires

The Eagles escaped Week 16 with a 33-25 win over the lowly Giants, doing little to quell concerns about Philadelphia when the postseason arrives.

Giants quarterback Tyrod Taylor led New York on a last-minute potential touchdown-tying drive, but his second-down pass as time expired was intercepted in the end zone by Eagles cornerback Kelee Ringo.

Philadelphia had a 20-3 halftime lead and then a 30-18 fourth-quarter lead, but turnovers and defensive lapses in the secondary allowed New York to nearly force overtime.

The Eagles’ sloppy second half in which they were outscored 22-13 by the Giants doesn't bode well for the team's chances against tougher competition during the postseason.

Running back Boston Scott fumbled the second half’s opening kickoff, quarterback Jalen Hurts threw a pick-six, and Taylor completed a 69-yard touchdown to wideout Darius Slayton.

The Eagles probably won't get away with those kinds of lapses in the playoffs, making their difficulty putting away a bad Giants team a terrible sign for their chances of making a second consecutive Super Bowl.

Despite the win, Philly is looking more and more like it could be one-and-done in the playoffs.
