One thing’s for sure: the Green Bay Packers came to play at Arlington, and Rich Bisaccia made their host now who is the boss after they ran out of comfort zone winners in the wild-card round. The special team coach taunted the home team while making his way back to their locker room.

Bisaccia is a very vocal character and has always been loud when it comes to bringing out the best in his players. But he was one of the members of the Packers’ coaching staff whose job was allegedly on the line because of their steady decline.

In 2022, they were ranked 22nd in the league, but they fell seven positions last season to 29. Not only that, they were the most penalized special teams, with 19 accepted fouls that resulted in 178 free yards for their opponents.

So when they pulled off an astounding 48-32 win at AT&T Stadium, he couldn’t keep calm afterward. While heading toward the locker room, Bisaccia was filmed shouting, ‘How about dem Cowboys?’ as a reminder that despite being the youngest team in the playoff, they outclassed one of the NFC’s favorites.

Rich Bisaccia has a reason to celebrate the Green Bay Packers beating the Dallas Cowboys

It’s not often a team goes into the den of the Dallas Cowboys and comes away with a win. Dallas did not lose for 16 games until the Packers won on Sunday night. But history was on Green Bay’s side; they are one of the few teams that have a 100% win record at Jerry World, winning all six games.

One of those games included their latest Super Bowl win in 2011. Coincidentally, their head coach on that occasion was Mike McCarthy, whose job may be on the line after yesterday’s disappointing loss.

But it’s pure joy for Rich Bisaccia, who was the assistant head coach of the Cowboys and special teams coordinator from 2013 to 2017. Later, he joined the Las Vegas Raiders and even worked as their interim head coach in 2021.

The following season, the Packers hired the 63-year-old. He is currently one of the right-hand men of head coach Matt LeFluer. Together, they orchestrated a late push for the playoffs, winning six of their last seven games and even beating the current Super Bowl champions along the way.

Green Bay managed to secure the 7th seed in the NFC. By beating the Cowboys, they became the first team in NFL history to record a playoff win from that position.
