Watch: Jamal Adams makes huge hit in return on 'MNF,' immediately gets hurt
Jamal Adams is back, and what a return he's made right out of the gates.
In his first snaps in over a year after suffering a torn quadriceps tendon on his left leg, Adams got into the action early for the Seattle Seahawks.
Known for his ability to make big, game-changing plays, Adams snuffed out a Daniel Jones check-down into the flats and laid a massive hit on New York Giants wide receiver Parris Campbell.
Unfortunately, just a few plays later, disaster seemingly struck again for Adams. Making another play in the flats, this time on a running Jones, Adams made a low tackle and seemingly took a knee to the helmet.
At the time of this writing, Adams is being evaluated for a concussion and his return to the "Monday Night Football" contest is questionable.
Adams has struggled with injuries ever since he was traded by the New York Jets to the Seahawks in 2020. He's missed 28 of a possible 54 regular-season games since his acquisition by Seattle.
If he indeed can't come back in this game, it would truly be tragic.
