Watch: Jared Goff hilariously scoffs at question about Lions' star power

The farther the Detroit Lions have climbed, the more the team is doubted for reasons unrelated to Xs and Os. This time, a reporter questioned whether or not a lack of star power, compared to the big, bad San Francisco 49ers, would play a role.

However, Lions quarterback Jared Goff has no time for that nonsense. During media availability ahead of Sunday's NFC Championship game, he hilariously shut down the question before it even started, leading to an eruption of laughter from the gaggle of reporters.

After initially hearing complimentary things about the Lions' players, Goff was appreciative, yet when the question's ending insinuated that they couldn't compare with the household names on the 49ers, the quarterback's demeanor took a sharp turn.

Coincidentally, this wasn't the first time leading up to the big game that Goff showed his outward disdain for a comment from a reporter. Earlier in the week, he wouldn't even listen to what pundit Skip Bayless had to say.

Appearing on the "Karsch and Anderson Show" on 97.1 The Ticket, Goff cut things off at the mention of the FS1 host, clarifying that he didn't "care about anything he says."

"You can stop now. Anything those guys say on daytime TV, you can skip over that," Goff said.

In two separate venues, it only takes seconds for Goff to prove that, when it comes to the Lions, you're either with or against them.

Fittingly, that's the mentality they'll need if they hope to continue to shock the football world by clinching the franchise's first Super Bowl berth.
