Watch: Jets' Quinnen Williams gets into it with coach on sidelines
Football is an emotional game, and sometimes those emotions can boil over on the sidelines between teammates, players and coaches.
It just does not always get captured by the TV cameras.
When it does, it gets attention. That happened on Sunday afternoon when Jets defensive lineman Quinnen Williams was seen getting into a shouting match with defensive line coach Aaron Whitecotton and had to be held back by teammates.
Williams is in his fourth year for the Jets after being the No. 3 overall pick in the 2019 draft.
The Jets were down on the scoreboard at the time and had already given up a couple of big plays to Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals offense.
The Jets entered the game with a 1-1 record after their stunning come-from-behind win against the Cleveland Browns a week ago.
