Watch: Mike Evans makes a case for catch of the year on 'MNF'

Just two weeks ago on ESPN's "Monday Night Football" we were treated to a sensational catch by Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson.

Ironically again on "Monday Night Football", that catch may have been topped by Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans, who holds the NFL record for most consecutive seasons to begin a career with 1,000+ receiving yards (nine and counting).

Evans has made some incredible catches throughout his career already but Monday he may have made his best.

With just under 13 minutes left in the game, quarterback Baker Mayfield found a leaping Evans who corralled the ball into one hand before falling to the ground at the Eagles 30-yard line.

You can see for yourself the acrobatic catch below.

Despite the impressive catch, Evans and the Buccaneers would end up losing 25-11 to the Eagles, their first loss of the season. Evans finished the night with five receptions, 60 yards and a touchdown.

Through three games this season he has 297 yards, on pace to again reach the 1,000 mark.
