The Houston Texans are doing battle with the Tennessee Titans on Sunday with first place in the AFC South on the line.

Unfortunately, officials took center stage with the game close in the fourth quarter.

That included this absolutely horrendous unnecessary roughness penalty against Texans linebacker Brennan Scarlett on Titans wide receiver Kalif Raymond.

Apparently leading with your shoulder and making a clean tackle is frowned upon by the zebras. What in the world is happening here?

Scarlett made a textbook tackle, one that is taught to children at the Pop Warner level.

Sadly, Tennessee would score a touchdown two plays later to tie the game up at 14. Good job, NFL!
