This is not the way the Raiders wanted to start their tenure in Las Vegas . Early in their home debut in the desert metropolis, the Raiders saw former first-round pick Johnathan Abram injured on the sideline after he ran into the base of a camera truck.

ESPN went to commercial with the stud safety laying motionless at Allegiant Stadium.

The good news here is that Abram popped up and headed for the Raiders’ sideline. That doesn’t change the question many are asking right now. Why is that thing so close to the action at the new Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas?

As for Abram, the former Mississippi State star missed all but one game during his rookie season with tears to both his rotator cuff and labrum. The hope here is that he’ll be just fine.
