Watch: Rams CB Jalen Ramsey strikes teammate Taylor Rapp

The Los Angeles Rams have a chance to clinch the NFC West in Week 17, but emotions were running high in a negative way for the team's defense early in a game against the Baltimore Ravens. Cameras showed cornerback Jalen Ramsey hitting his teammate Taylor Rapp in the facemask during a defensive huddle in the first quarter.

What led to the confrontation between Rapp and Ramsey is unknown, but it didn't stop the Rams defense from getting a stop later in the drive. Los Angeles forced a punt and defensive tackle Aaron Donald was shown on the sideline with his arm around Rapp's shoulder.

Ramsey, 27, has spoken highly of Rapp this season.

"He’s super disruptive," Ramsey said of Rapp in September, via USA Today. "He’s taken his game to another level and we have a lot of confidence in him and we’re going to continue pushing that confidence in him because when we do, he lights up and he plays amazing."

In December, Ramsey was named to his fifth consecutive Pro Bowl.
