This offseason, there have been quite a handful of stories suggesting a rift between the New England Patriots owner and former head coach. And the visible ties to all those stories lead straight to the NFL legend, Tom Brady

It’s not hidden that the seven-time Super Bowl champion parted ways with the Patriots because of his poor relationship with the legendary head coach Bill Belichick. Though at that time, owner Robert Kraft sided with Belichick as the two watched Brady leave and join the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020.

However, after Belichick’s exit from New England, Kraft expressed his regret for letting Brady leave the franchise. Ever since then, there has been a cold war between Kraft and Belichick– which appeared to get buried under a hatch at “Roast of Tom Bradyairing on Netflix.

All thanks to the famous comedian, Kevin Hart, who encouraged Kraft and Belichick to have a toast together on the stage. With smiles on their faces, the two agreed while Kraft called the former Patriots head coach the “greatest coach” in NFL history.

I want to say, this is the greatest coach in the history of the game that did what no one else has done. Having Tom Brady and him was the greatest honor the good Lord gave me. Robert Kraft said

Though their reconciliation is surprising, it wasn’t unexpected as the two share a long history together, where they built the Patriots as the NFL’s first dynasty of the 2000s, winning six Super Bowls.

Patriots owner hints at Tom Brady’s NFL comeback with Raiders

Apart from the on-stage toast with the legendary head coach, the Patriots owner made another headline over his subtle hint at Brady’s return to the league. While talking about Brady’s quest to be a stakeholder of the Las Vegas Raiders, Kraft hinted that the former QB might return as the starting QB in the Raiders. He also recalled the time when Brady influenced Jimmy Garoppolo’s trade after his remarkable season in 2017.

Tom, good luck buying the Raiders. They did your favorite thing for you already. They got rid of Jimmy Garoppolo.  Robert Kraft said

This was probably the last time fans got to see Brady, Belichick, and Kraft together under the same roof as to honor their good old days as Patriots and bantering at each other’s cost. ‘The Roast’ gave numerous such moments of entertainment which are bound to be talked about in the coming days.
