Watch: Seahawks rookie lays the boom on Cardinals WR Rondale Moore

The infamous "Legion of Boom" came far before rookie cornerback Devon Witherspoon's time, but chances are he'd have fit right in.

During Sunday's Week 7 matchup between the Seahawks and Arizona Cardinals, Witherspoon lit up wide receiver Rondale Moore with a monster hit, sending him tumbling to the turf.

Moore gets marks for holding onto the football and popping right back to his feet following the hit. However, it doesn't take anything away from Witherspoon's violent but legal tackle.

The 22-year-old has already made an impact on the stat sheet, recording 27 tackles (two for loss), two sacks and an interception return for a touchdown. Now, making only his fifth career NFL start, Witherspoon is building a reputation as a feared hitter.
