Watch: Titans' Derrick Henry joins other Hall of Fame RBs with TD pass
Even though Derrick Henry is a running back, the Tennessee Titans star has a penchant for throwing touchdown passes.
Against the Seattle Seahawks (7-7), the former first-team All-Pro threw a 12-yard TD to Titans tight end Chigoziem Okonkwo, giving Tennessee (5-9) a 7-0 lead with 14:14 remaining in the second quarter.
Per Josh Dubow of the Associated Press, it was the fourth TD pass of his career. Only three other players have four or more TD passes and 80 or more rushing TDs: Hall of Famers Walter Payton (eight), LaDanian Tomlinson (seven) and Marcus Allen (six).
Henry turns 30 in January and is still one of the best backs in the league. Entering Week 16, he's third in the league in rushing attempts (230), sixth in rushing yards (884) and tied for sixth in rushing TDs (10).
Henry is in the final year of a four-year, $50M contract. If he enters free agency this offseason, don't be surprised if he attracts several suitors. The former Offensive Player of the Year is still an effective weapon who can tilt the field.
