Kansas City Chiefs safety and Super Bowl champ Tyrann Mathieu is giving back in a big way to people in need. He’s paying their rent.

Recently, Mathieu announced an endeavor to help folks in his hometown of New Orleans. Taking a page from his nickname given by Chiefs fans, “The Landlord” has emerged as an awesome video series in which we get an inside look at Mathieu paying two months worth of rent to people who need the help.

Check out these touching videos. Mathieu teamed up with Bleacher Report to make them happen.

Mathieu clearly is loving this opportunity to help people out in this difficult time. His energy and passion flow, and the people he’s helping appear to be energized just as much by him as the financial assistance he’s providing.
