Watch: Will Levis, DeAndre Hopkins burn Falcons for 61-yard TD

Tennessee Titans receiver DeAndre Hopkins didn’t score a touchdown in his first six games but he made up for lost time against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday.

On a second-and-10 with 1:45 left in the third quarter, Hopkins sped through the Falcons secondary and burned Falcons safety Richie Grant for his third touchdown of the game — a 61-yarder that put the Titans up 21-9.

Hopkins caught the first touchdown of the game on a 47-yard touchdown strike from rookie quarterback Will Levis near the end of the first quarter, and he scored again in the second quarter on a 16-yard pass from Levis, who completed 15 of his first 22 passes for 188 yards, three touchdowns and zero interceptions.

It’s just the second three-touchdown game of Hopkins’ career. The other came on Oct. 8, 2018, in a 42-34 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs as a member of the Houston Texans. Hopkins finished that game with four receptions on 12 targets for 52 yards and three scores.

It’s also the first multi-touchdown game for Hopkins since Oct. 17, 2021, when he caught three passes for 55 yards and two touchdowns in 37-14 win over the Cleveland Browns during his second season with the Arizona Cardinals.
