Xavier Woods committed a costly penalty with a stupid move during Thursday’s Dallas Cowboys-Buffalo Bills game.

During the early part of third quarter, the Bills had a 3rd-and-4 at their 35. Josh Allen completed a pass to Cole Beasley, who was tackled around midfield for a first down. At the end of the play, Woods decided to rip Beasley’s helmet off and was flagged for a 15-yard facemask penalty.

The penalty moved the Bills to the Dallas 34. They ended up kicking a field goal on the possession to increase their lead to 16-7.

That was the latest bad play by Woods in what was a poor game for the defensive back. He also dropped an interception and was part of a blown coverage.
