Stetson Bennet has officially made his return to the NFL, as it was recently announced the former Georgia quarterback is back with the Los Angeles Rams for offseason activities after missing the entirety of his rookie season due to undisclosed personal reasons.

Bennett, 26 years old, is best known for his storybook journey through football as a former two-star recruit who beat out great talent as a walk-on. He went forward to lead the Bulldogs to a pair of consecutive national titles, marking the beginning of what could be a dynasty on the horizon for Kirby Smart's team.

He was originally selected by the Rams in the fourth round of the 2023 NFL Draft with the 128th overall pick.

What is Stetson Bennett's net worth?

Bennett's net worth as of 2023, according to multiple sources, was valued between $3 million and $5 million. The exact amount for the year of 2024 remains unknown.

Bennett, a native of Blackshear, Georgia, began his career Pierce County High School where he instantly shone with an upward trajectory.

His team made three consecutive state playoff appearances as he racked up some 3,724 passing yards before graduating.

Bennett kicked off his college career as a Georgia walk-on in 2017, passing on his lone FBS scholarship offer from Middle Tennessee. He was buried behind Jake Fromm and Justin Fields on the depth chart without taking a snap during his freshman season and would find a change of scenery from Athens to Jones Community College in Ellisville, Mississippi.

He passed for 1,840 yards and 16 touchdowns in the single season he spent there, returning to Georgia in 2019 as a more polished overall prospect.

Bennett was named the starting quarterback for what would prove to be the long haul in 2021, passing for 2,862 yards with 29 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. He also rushed for 259 yards with 1 touchdown on the ground. The decision to keep Bennett off the bench once it appeared Daniels was ready to go was controversial as some argued the Bulldogs won the national championship that season in spite of some mistakes by Bennett on the way to the 33-18 victory over Alabama.

He fine-tuned his game after that, completing 68.3% of his passes for 4,128 yards with 27 touchdowns (10 rushing) and 7 interceptions.

He finished fourth in the Heisman Trophy race, guiding Georgia to a 15-0 record and a 65-7 win over TCU in the national title game.

Since making his return, many are looking forward to seeing if he can have the same type of success at the highest level football has to offer.
