What’s the weather forecast for AFC playoff games in Baltimore, Buffalo?
Two winter weather storms plagued Super Wild Card Weekend games in Kansas City and Buffalo. Will either of the AFC's divisional playoff games feature problematic weather?
In the first game of this weekend's NFL playoffs, the No. 4 seed Texans and No. 1 seed Ravens will meet in Baltimore on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. ET.
According to The Weather Channel, temperatures are expected to be in the mid-to-low 20s with 10 to 20 mph winds. However, there's only a six percent chance of precipitation, with no rain or snow expected.
That's good news for head coach John Harbaugh, who's preparing his Ravens -- a 9.5-point favorite, per FanDuel -- for the frigid temperatures.
"Well, it's not gonna be as cold as it was in Kansas City and there's not gonna be as much snow as there was in Buffalo," Harbaugh told reporters. "So, we're good. We feel okay about it."
On "Sunday Night Football" at 6:30 ET, the No. 3 seed Chiefs will play the No. 2 seed Bills in Buffalo.
Last weekend's biggest winter storm hit Buffalo, dumping up to three feet of snow on the city and forcing postponement of the game against Pittsburgh from Sunday to Monday.
There's only a 13 percent chance of snow on Sunday night, per The Weather Channel. If that holds, the low-20 temperatures are the only impact the weather should have on the game.
That's great news for anyone tuning in to QB Patrick Mahomes' first road playoff game of his career.
Kansas City is a 2.5-point underdog, but Mahomes will surely put on another great showing against QB Josh Allen in their seventh career meeting.
