Where does WR A.J. Green rank in Bengals history?

Wide receiver A.J. Green has called it a career after 12 seasons in the NFL. He spent the last two years in Arizona, but he'll always be remembered as a Bengal. So where does he rank all-time in Cincinnati?

There is certainly a case to be made that Green is the best Bengals receiver of all time. However, it is close between him and WR Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson.

Green finished his career with 10,514 receiving yards, but 9,430 in Cincinnati which ranks second to Johnson (10,783). Johnson also finished with 66 touchdowns compared to Green's 65.

Although, there is a factor that could help Green's argument. Green played in 24 fewer games than Johnson and you have to think if he had the chance, Green would have easily surpassed Johnson in both categories with 24 more opportunities.

However, staying healthy is an important stat in itself and Green struggled to stay on the field at times throughout his career.

Whichever way you lean, Green had quite the career and was certainly one of the best receivers in the league during his prime.

Green is likely on his way to being inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame and getting himself a gold jacket. But for now, those around the league are just congratulating him on his phenomenal career.
