WR Ja'Marr Chase reveals how Bengals are 'diva-free'

The Bengals have one of the top receiving units in the NFL. With so much talent, some may think there aren't enough balls to go around.

WR Ja'Marr Chase says that isn't the case in Cincinnati. "We don’t really care," Chase told reporters. "It’s not us being divas. It’s just taking advantage of a matchup that is in front of us."

The Bengals are 9-4 with a real shot at winning their division and maybe even the No.1 seed in the AFC. Winning helps cure all and Cincinnati has been doing it a lot lately.

"If we come in here and we’re losing every game, then we’re just going to pout, be mad at each other, and blame every little mistake on everybody. Winning helps the bonding in the locker room," Chase added.

Winning is all that matters to this receiving corps, which has made all the difference whenever one of them has missed a game.

"Those guys are picking up right where we need those guys to. T.I. [Trenton Irwin] and T.T. [Trent Taylor] are doing a good job," Chase finished. "Everybody knows their role, and when they come in, they play it right."

Some have said fellow WR Tee Higgins would be a wide receiver one on a lot of other teams in the league, but it doesn't matter to this group.

Each Cincinnati receiver has a role and it shows. Higgins leads the team in receiving yards (861) while Chase leads the team in receiving touchdowns (7).

There's no worries as long as the Bengals continue winning. And that's what they're hoping to continue doing the whole way to another Super Bowl trip.
