In what many considered a must-win game, the Falcons beat their rivals in Atlanta, taking the Saints down by a score of 24-15. Bijan Robinson and Jessie Bates shined, but it was Younghoe Koo who made history.

Later that day, the Ravens took on the Chargers on Sunday Night Football when Justin Tucker uncharacteristically missed a 44-yard field goal, which has become automatic for him at this point.

Fortunately for Tucker, who many consider the GOAT at what he does, Baltimore still pulled out the win over Los Angeles. Unfortunately, the miss knocked Tucker’s field goal percentage down a tick, allowing Atlanta’s Youngho Koo to take over the best field goal percentage in league history.

For many years, Koo has been one of the few bright spots in an otherwise dim Falcons football team. He’s consistent and is among the NFL’s best kickers. On Sunday, he knocked down a 39-yard field goal to make it a two-score game, which eventually cemented the win.

These percentages are so narrow that he might fall back to second place with just a single miss, so while we can, we will celebrate Younghoe Koo and his incredible leg.
