Antonio Brown passes physical, officially signs one-year deal with Bucs

Antonio Brown has officially signed a one-year deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after passing a physical, according to Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times. The deal is believed to be worth up to $6.25 million, with $3.1 million guaranteed.

After missing all but one game of the 2019 season and the first eight games of the 2020 season, Brown joined the Bucs for the second half of last season. He ended up with 45 catches for 483 yards and four touchdowns over four starts. And he proved to be a valuable red-zone weapon during Tampa Bay's Super Bowl run, as he caught three touchdowns in the postseason, including two in the Super Bowl.

With Brown officially back, the Bucs should once again have one of the most loaded offensive attacks in the entire NFL, with Tom Brady throwing to Brown, Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, and Rob Gronkowski. In fact, the team has managed to keep its championship roster almost entirely intact, as all 22 starters are returning for the 2021 season.

While Brown's days as the NFL's best receiver may be in the rearview, he has shown he can still be a valuable contributor to a winning team.
