The Bengals made a minor shake-up to the front office this offseason, promoting scouting voices like Steven Radicevic and Mike Potts, along with former senior personnel executive Trey Brown, to assistant general manager roles under director of player personnel Duke Tobin.
The three promote voices have been mainstay influences on the Bengals roster build over the past few seasons and beyond in some cases. Brown has interviewed for a few general manager opportunities over the past couple of seasons.
"Steve, Mike, and Trey work in all areas of the club and assist me in every aspect," Tobin told Bengals.com's Geoff Hobson. "They're highly capable. They're impactful in all areas of personnel. We felt like this title fit their role with us."

All of this represents a deeper focus on talent accumulation from the Bengals. On top of the scouting, Cincinnati boosted its head of analytics, Sam Francis, into a new title as director of football research.
