Bo Nix just wrapped up a stellar rookie season as starting quarterback for the Denver Broncos.
Sean Payton and the Broncos selected Nix with the No. 12 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, and the first-year signal caller out of Oregon delivered immediate results for the franchise.
Nix's impressive rookie campaign was capped off by a 38-0 blowout win over the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 18. In Sunday's shutout victory, the 24-year-old quarterback completed 26-of-29 pass attempts for 321 yards, four touchdowns and no interceptions.
With this performance, Nix became the first rookie in NFL history to record multiple games with at least 300 passing yards, four passing touchdowns and a passer rating of 140 or higher.
This outstanding performance prompted a special announcement from the NFL. On Wednesday, the league named Nix the AFC's Week 18 Offensive Player of the Week.

This announcement comes just before Nix and the Broncos face off against Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills in a wild card round matchup at Highmark Stadium. Denver finished its season with a 10-7 record, earning the No. 7 seed in the AFC.
Nix and the Broncos have a tough task ahead of them as they look to mount an upset over the home-team Bills. But whatever happens this weekend, Denver should be happy it has its franchise quarterback for the foreseeable future.
The Broncos and Bills will kickoff at 1 p.m. EST on Sunday.
