Browns' Myles Garrett misses practice, status for Thursday's game unknown

The Cleveland Browns are coming off of a brutal loss to the New York Jets and have to deal with a short week of preparation for their Thursday game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

They also might be without several key players for the game.

The Browns have already ruled out defensive ends Jadeveon Clowney and Chase Winovich for Thursday, and the status of superstar defensive end Myles Garrett is also now in doubt.

Garrett missed practice on Tuesday with a neck injury and his status for Thursday's game is uncertain, with head coach Kevin Stefanski saying "we'll see" when asked if Garrett will be available.

Starting offensive lineman Joel Bitonio is also uncertain for Thursday after missing practice on Tuesday.

Being down three starting defensive lineman could be a problem for the Browns, but it is also not the worst matchup for the Browns given how lackluster the Steelers offensive has looked through the first two games of the season.

Cleveland has played two wild games through the first two weeks, beating former quarterback Baker Mayfield on a last second field goal in Week 1 and then falling apart late on Sunday.
