The Denver Broncos are leading the AFC West with an 8-2 record, but they've been beating up on some of the worst teams in the NFL. They've also been playing those bad teams very closely.
Things are about to get tougher as they're going to face the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 11. The Chiefs are only 5-4, but they've played a much harder schedule. Plus, they're coming off a bye week, which is where Andy Reid thrives. This will be the biggest test the Broncos have had all season. Ahead of the matchup, Denver decided to make a roster move.
The Broncos' offense hasn't been playing well throughout the season, especially in the last two games. Quarterback Bo Nix is playing very poorly.
With the Chiefs coming up next, Denver decided to reunite with a familiar face. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter , the Broncos have signed wide receiver Lil'Jordan Humphrey off the New York Giants practice squad.
Humphrey spent the previous two years with the Broncos before moving to New York this season. He caught 31 passes for 293 yards last season, so there's at least a little bit of trust between Nix and him.
Considering his familiarity with Sean Payton's offense, he could get on the field for Denver quickly. He's unlikely to fix their offensive woes, but he's a player that Nix can trust, which could help him get out of his funk. Humphrey only had four catches this season with the Giants.
