Cole Beasley takes shot at Cowboys after revenge game win
Rich Barnes-USA TODAY Sports

Cole Beasley was more than happy to twist the knife a bit into his old team.

The Buffalo Bills wide receiver had a huge game on Thursday, pulling down six catches for 110 yards and a touchdown in a 26-15 statement win over the Dallas Cowboys. After the victory, Beasley had some interesting remarks in apparent reference to his former club.

“I’m just glad I’m in a place where coaches believe in me, teammates believe in me, and they give me opportunities to do what I do,” said Beasley, per Bills reporter Sal Capaccio. “I was telling everybody before the game, ‘I’m glad I’m on this side while we’re here.’”

Beasley, 30, was signed by the Cowboys in 2012 as an undrafted free agent and spent the first seven years of his career with them. He left this past offseason to sign a four-year deal with the Bills, however.

It was a frustrating day for the Cowboys all around on Thanksgiving, and Beasley was more than happy to have contributed to their holiday blues.
