Damar Hamlin snags first career interception off of Trevor Lawrence, Bills sideline erupts

“What else can’t this young man do? He basically went through what he went through on the field, you guys have written about that over and over, and to come back from that,” Bills head coach Sean McDermott said at the time. “It’s one thing to come back off of an ACL or a broken bone. How Damar Hamlin has looked this season

In the first two games of this season, Hamlin recorded 14 tackles and one tackle for loss. In the first half of the Jaguars game, the Pittsburgh alum notched one tackle with his interception.

After his first start this year, Hamlin talked about his goals outside of football,” “I don’t want to be just known as the player who lived,” Hamlin told NFL.com. “My story is my story. It’s still being written. But I want to be known for my abilities as well. I’ve always had big goals on and off the field. I have so much more that I want to accomplish.”
