The hype surrounding Tua Tagovailoa is very real. Miami Dolphins fans have been craving a championship-caliber quarterback for as long as anyone can remember, and it seems they believe Tagovailoa can be that guy.
The rookie quarterback now has the top-two-selling jerseys in the NFL, surpassing Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady, according to NFLShop.com.

Miami's teal jersey is pretty spectacular and is hard to pass up, so it's no surprise that it's currently the league's top-selling jersey.
Besides Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow, Tagovailoa was, and still is, the most hyped-up quarterback of the 2020 draft class, and it's not hard to see why.
Despite missing much of the 2019 season due to a hip injury, the former Alabama quarterback threw for 2,840 yards and 33 touchdowns.
Hopefully Tagovailoa's collegiate success will translate to the NFL, because he won't want to upset all those fans who spent $100-plus on his jersey.
