Dolphins signing former Seahawks linebacker Shaquem Griffin to one-year deal

The Miami Dolphins are signing former Seattle Seahawks linebacker Shaquem Griffin to a one-year deal, according to ESPN's Cameron Wolfe.

Griffin had his left hand amputated when he was four years old because of amniotic band syndrome. Now he joins the Dolphins looking to make the roster.

The 26-year-old became an unrestricted free agent this offseason after not being tendered by the Seahawks as a restricted free agent.

Griffin became the first player with one hand to be drafted in the NFL's modern era when the Seahawks selected him in 2018, reuniting him with his twin brother, Shaquill Griffin.

In 46 career games, the Florida native has one sack, 25 tackles and six quarterback hits.
