Week 8 of the regular season is in the books, and the Miami Dolphins went back to their old ways as the Ravens blew them out in a non-competitive game. This time, though, Miami had an embarrassing loss at home, as opposed to their other embarrassing losses this year in Indy and in Cleveland. I don’t know if this game will bring any changes to the Dolphins, but with the poor play tonight, if it did, nobody would be surprised.
Here is my Stock Up/Stock Down report.
Jaylen Waddle: Another fantastic game for Waddle as Miami’s #1 WR. He made a few big plays in the first half.
Bradley Chubb: He was unblockable at times in this game and came up big on a few stops in this game. If this was his final game with the Miami Dolphins, he went out playing a fantastic game.
Greg Dulcich: For a guy playing his first real minutes on this team, he came through with some nice receptions, moved the chains, and played really well.
De’Von Achane: I can put his name in this part of the column each week. He was great tonight in another poor team performance.
Tahj Washington: Finally get some playing time, and you fumble the first time you are called upon. Not good. Not good.
Riley Patterson: Kid has been fantastic; he has been better than good, but that miss in the first half was rough to watch.
Miami’s Offensive Line: Playing with the 6th offensive lineman didn’t work as well this week as it did last week, as Larry Borom was called for multiple penalties, and overall, they made their fair share of mistakes.
Mike McDaniel: The play call on 4th down before halftime is McDaniel’s Dolphins career as head coach in a nutshell: a low percentage pass on a play where the player wasn’t ready. Jaylen Wright‘s inactivity was a head-scratcher. Everything that worked last week, McDaniel got away from this week—poor job by the head coach. It was another game where his team came out unprepared and played with no life.
