Eagles activate TE Dallas Goedert from COVID-19 list

The Philadelphia Eagles traded franchise icon Zach Ertz to the Arizona Cardinals last week. They'll welcome back Ertz's heir apparent Dallas Goedert for Sunday's game against the Las Vegas Raiders after a one-game absence.

While the 30-year-old Ertz is slated to make his Cardinals debut on Sunday against the Houston Texans, the 26-year-old Goedert should be good to go for Philadelphia, as the 2-4 Eagles look to get back on track after a week six setback against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Prior to going on the COVID-19/Reserve list, Goedert had made 15 catches on 19 targets for 216 receiving yards and two touchdowns over five games this year. He's expected to be the team's near-every down tight end with Ertz now out of the picture.

In 47 career regular season games, Goedert has accumulated 152 receptions for 1,681 yards and 14 touchdowns on 215 targets.
