When Howie Roseman was asked on Wednesday if Jalen Hurts will be the Eagles' starting quarterback next season, the Philadelphia GM didn't leave any room for mystery or questioning.
In Indy, Eagles GM Howie Roseman asked if he still feels Jalen Hurts is their guy. “There’s no doubt about it.”

"There's no doubt about it," Roseman said at the NFL combine in Indianapolis, via ESPN. "We have Jalen Hurts, who is a 23-year-old quarterback who led his team to the playoffs, and he's going to get better and better and better. He's going to do everything possible to get better, and we have to do our part in [helping] that."
This isn't the first time in the early offseason Roseman has gone to bat for Hurts, who led the Eagles to the NFC Wild Card round in his first season as a starter. The 23-year-old signal-caller also led all QBs in rushing yards (784) and rushing touchdowns (10).
Speculation about Hurts' starting status arose almost immediately after Philadelphia was eliminated from the playoffs, in part because they have three first-round picks in the upcoming draft but also because the Eagles have been rumored to be in on the Deshaun Watson sweepstakes.
Although Roseman shot down the Watson speculation just as quickly as he defended Hurts.
