Ex-teammate James Jones thinks Aaron Rodgers' relationship with Packers is 'fixable'

James Jones became the latest former teammate of Aaron Rodgers to air his opinion on the trade rumors, saying that the quarterback's relationship with the Packers is "fixable" and that Rodgers is not looking to get general manager Brian Gutekunst fired.

"I speak with Aaron all the time," Jones said on NFL Network. "It has nothing to do with getting the GM fired. It has nothing to do with a new contract and getting money. ... I think it's fixable."

Jones seems to be someone who can speak on this topic with some authority. He spent eight of his nine seasons in the NFL playing with Rodgers on the Packers, and he seems to still speak with the quarterback on a regular basis. If he says that the relationship is not beyond repair, that should be a relief to Packers fans, as it could mean that Rodgers' days in Green Bay aren't numbered quite yet.

Former Packers fullback John Kuhn also spoke this week about how Rodgers was feeling, saying that the three-time MVP felt "conflicted" about his future while noting that he "loves to play the game of football" and "loves to be a Green Bay Packer."
