Falcons’ first-round pick Drake London suffered a knee injury after hauling in his first pass in the team’s first preseason matchup against the Lions. Atlanta reported he wouldn’t return to the game.

Hopefully, it’s just precautionary because London was set to have a big impact in Arthur Smith’s offense. He’s the No. 8 overall pick, and the Falcons are already thin on playmaking pass catchers.
The play was just a glimpse of what Smith’s offense could look like in 2022 — London crossing the field on a play action boot. The USC product took it for 24-yards before being tackled out of bounds, landing on his knee.
There's the rookie @DrakeLondon_ making plays.
